Temple Work

Today was a very special day. Matt and I went to the Temple and we did my Mom and my Dad's Temple work. I also was able to seal my Mom to her parents. It was amazing. I felt the presence of my Mom so strong. My sister in law sat in as my Grandmother and Matt sat in as my Grandfather and I as my Mother. What was funny was as soon as the sealing was complete and the man performing the ceremony said "Amen" the light flickered. At the exact same moment. It was awesome. I said "did you see that"! And everyone in the room was just as amazed as I was. It was really cool. My Mom was a joker, she would have done that just for the fun of it. My sister in law said she has never meet my mom, and she felt her presence as well. The spirit was very strong and unmistakable. I have felt so good all day long. I miss my Mom. I feel like I have spent the day with her. I look forward to the day I get to see her again.

Michelle,
That is a great story, thanks for sharing. I love the temple too! I didn't realize your mom had passed away. I would like to think my dad has been teaching her up there. :)Sometimes those of us raised in the church take it for granted. You are a great example, who reminds us of otherwise. I'm glad you're my sister-in-law!
